Jolt

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 40% Fresh (Critics) – 42% Fresh (Audience)

The plot: Lindy is a beautiful, sardonically funny woman with a painful secret: Due to a lifelong, rare neurological disorder, she experiences sporadic rage-filled, murderous impulses that can only be stopped when she shocks herself with a special electrode device.

Unable to find love and connection in a world that fears her bizarre condition, she finally trusts a man long enough to fall in love, only to find him murdered the next day. Heartbroken and enraged, she embarks on a revenge-filled mission to find his killer, while also being pursued by the police as the crime’s prime suspect.

The Suicide Squad

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 96% Fresh (Critics) – (Audience Rating Unavailable)

The plot: Welcome to hell—a.k.a. Belle Reve, the prison with the highest mortality rate in USA. Where the worst Super-Villains are kept and where they will do anything to get out—even join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X.

Today’s do-or-die assignment? Assemble a collection of cons, including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin and everyone’s favorite psycho, Harley Quinn. Then arm them heavily and drop them (literally) on the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese.

With only Colonel Rick Flag on the ground to make them behave…and Amanda Waller’s government techies in their ears, tracking their every movement. And as always, one wrong move and they’re dead (whether at the hands of their opponents, a teammate, or Waller herself).

Spirit Untamed

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 49% Fresh (Critics) – 95% Fresh (Audience)

The plot: After moving to a sleepy little town, young Lucky Prescott befriends a wild mustang named Spirit, who shares her rebellious spirit. When a heartless wrangler plans to capture Spirit and his herd, Lucky and her new friends embark on the adventure of a lifetime to rescue the horse that forever changed her life.

The Comeback Trail

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 35% Fresh (Critics) – 31% Fresh (Audience)

The plot: Two cash-strapped movie producers who owe money to the mob draw a scheme to bring back an aging movie star for an insurance scam in order to use his insurance policy to pay off their own debts, but they get more than they bargained for.
