Sheriff Deacon joins Sgt. Jim Baxter to search for a serial killer who’s terrorizing Los Angeles in The Little Things, hikers stray off course and cross a land inhabited by a hidden community of mountain dwellers in Wrong Turn, a young hotel clerk witnesses a murder but his suspicious actions land him as the lead detective’s number one suspect in Night Clerk, soldiers embark on a mission to an extraterrestrial world to save what’s left of mankind in Skylines and a pregnant woman finds the past flooding back in terrifying ways when she returns to her childhood home in Reunion.

The Little Things

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 48% Fresh (Critics) – 64% Fresh (Audience)The plot: Deputy Sheriff Deacon (Denzel Washington) is sent to Los Angeles for what should have been a quick evidence-gathering assignment. Instead, he becomes embroiled in the search for a killer who is terrorizing the city.

Leading the hunt, L.A. Sergeant Jim Baxter (Rami Malek), impressed with Deke’s cop instincts, unofficially engages his help. But as they track the killer, Baxter is unaware that the investigation is dredging up echoes of Deke’s past, uncovering disturbing secrets that could threaten more than his case.
Wrong Turn

The plot: Backwoods terror and never-jangling suspense meet when Jen and a group of friends set out to hike the Appalachian Trail. Despite warnings to stick to the trail, the hikers stray off-course and cross into a land inhabited by The Foundation, a hidden community of mountain dwellers who use deadly means to protect their way of life.

Suddenly under siege, Jen and her friends seem headed to the point of no return- unless Jen’s father (Golden Globe (R) nominee Matthew Modine) can reach them in time.

Night Clerk

The plot: A hotel clerk becomes the prime suspect when a woman is murdered during his shift. As the police investigation closes in, he makes a personal connection with a guest — but soon realizes he must stop the killer before she becomes the next victim.
